Cycles of Time Total dark no light ~ no life around oblique shapes are remnants. But who can tell what they mean? Years or eons of time pass. Another life form returns. Aliens or a new form of life. Archaeologists or Paleontologists wonder what came before. Trying to decipher the writings on walls or the silver flat disks that remain. Following radio waves from space and finding nothing. Interpretations ~ based on their own culture. Not knowing the real meaning or understanding what became of the previous life forms. Perhaps it doesn't really matter since our time is truly over. We've lost our place in time. [c]2009 By Rosemary Winters Traceyrevised 1/27/09

It's probably all true too and of all the poems I have read of yours Rosemary, it is the most poetic but I still find it a bit lacking in passion...more of a social commentary or an outing of thought...but only in places really. I feel, with this one, as if I can finally say with one of yours "yeah, that's what I think too"

You've certainly got me thinking now! That's a good thing. Good read, you.
