Hello, my name is Dan. I thought I would introduce my self. Originally from California USA and now live in Texas (It's its own country.. .) Not really a dedicated poet. But I do dabble and mangle the English language on occasion. It's a wonderful outlet. Will try to keep the poems of mine that are appropriate for a 13 yr. old posted only. I don't use bad wordage, but some of my poetry is a bit dark. A lot of spiritual. Perhaps some attempted humor. Mostly just life. Glad to be here and looking forward to reading some of your poetry. This site came highly recommended by a couple of your members/friends I know from another site that uses music as an artistic expression.

I know a friend when I see one!!! Hello darlin Dan and you are so very welcome here, as are any of your poems. I have already read the one to your friend on your profile at MP3U so I know you are a most able poet...it remains to be seen if you enjoy ours.
For those who do not know you, may I just say that Dan is a wonderfully gifted musician whose compositions (from the classical to the nonsensical and back again) sometimes leave me breathless. Along with Skippy, we are fast becoming friends with him just as you all will I know for sure.
